Panaskan pengukus hingga betul2 mendidih. Kukus dgn api paling besar selama 10 minit. Tips utk dapatkan apam yg mekar setaman : 1- Pukul adunan hingga betul2 kembang & gebu 2- Isi air di dlm pengukus 2-3 inci saja 3- Air betul2 panas & mendidih 4- Jarakkan apam, jangan terlalu dekat antara satu sama lain 5- Jangan buka penutup pengukus hingga sebelum cukup masanya 6- Acuan apam mestilah luas supaya apam dpt merekah/mekar dgn mudah
