Instructions to make Siakap Sweet Sour

Potong ikan. Belah ikan dan keluarkan bahagian tulang. Potong ikan kecil-kecil. (Simpan bahagian kepala untuk masakan lain)
Gaulkan ikan dengan garam, tepung jagung dan tepung ubi kayu sehingga bersalut. Goreng dan ketepikan.
Sediakan bancuhan sos tomato, cuka dan sos ikan. Sayuran dipotong dadu. Hiriskan bawang putih dan halia.
Tumis bawang putih dan halia sehingga kekuningan dan bangkit aroma menggunakan minyak zaitun.
Tambahkan bahan sos. Tambahkan gula, biar gula caramelised dan sos lebih gelap. Tambahkan air dan bancuhan tepung jagung.
Masukkan fillet ikan dan sayuran. Masak sekejap dan angkat untuk dihidangkan.
P/s: Harini uchu tak bubuh kacang peas dan putik jagung. Ikan sudah bergaram, sos ikan pun sudah masin, Uchu tak bubuh garam dlm sos juga.
