  1. Terlebih dahulu, asingkan kuning telur dgn putih telur utk 5 biji telur. Kemudian satukan Bahagian A dengan menggunakan whisk sehingga sebati dan halus texture adunan.
  2. Di mangkuk yang lain, kacau putih telur dengan menggunakan mixer sehingga berbuih kasar. Masukkan garam dan cream of tartar. Kacau lagi sehingga berbuih halus.
  3. Masukkan gula halus secara berperingkat sebanyak tiga kali. Adunan dikacau sehingga menjadi soft peak.
  4. Campurkan sebahagian adunan B ke dalam adunan A. Gaul menggunakan whisk atau sudip. Setelah agak rata, tuang kesemua adunan A tadi ke dalam B, putar mixer sehingga semua adunan telah gaul rata.
  5. Asingkan sedikit bancuhan adunan untuk hiasan. Selebihnya dituang ke dalam loyang saiz 8".
  6. Loyang diletakkan ke atas dulang pembakar yang telah dimasukkan air. Setelah oven dipanaskan, masukkan dulang tadi kedalam oven.
  7. Bakar adunan pada suhu 160° dalam masa 1 jam.
  8. Setelah selesai keluarkan kek daripada loyang dan sejukkan atas redai. Potong apabila kek telah sejuk.
