Potong kecil bawang merah,bawang putih,halia dan serai.Masukkan ke dalam pengisar.Masukkan air dan kisar halus.Sediakan periuk,masukkan minyak dan masukkan bahan kisar apabila minyak sudah panas.Tumis hingga naik bau dan pecah minyak.
